Natashia Deón is a 2017 NAACP Image Award Nominee and author of the critically-acclaimed novel, GRACE (Counterpoint Press), which was awarded the 2017 First Novel Prize by the American Library Association’s Black Caucus (BCALA), was named Kirkus Review Best Book of 2016 and a New York Times Top Book 2016, among others.
TEDx Poet Rachel Kann is a modern-day mystic: irreverently reverent and exuberantly human. Her poetry has been featured on Morning Becomes Eclectic on NPR and she was the 2017 Outstanding Instructor of the Year at UCLA Extension Writers’ Program.
She’s a Write Club Los Angeles champ and resident writer for Hevria. Her latest poetry collection, A Prayer on Behalf of the Broken Heart, was recently published by Finishing Line Press and her poetry and short story collection, 10 For Everything, was published by Orange Ocean Press.

Alissa is an alternative folk singer with a wide and varied theatrical background as a member of the professional Actor’s Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA and an accomplished puppeteer who has worked in television and as a resident puppeteer in the Child Life Department of Mount Sinai Hospital.
